If you are using EZproxy for remote authentication (and you should),there are two methods of dealing with NetLibrary bib records. One is to modify the 856 field of each record, pre-pending your EZproxyprefix to the NetLibrary URL. This can be done manually, but that is a rather tedious process. There is a free program available, MarcEdit, that supports simple search and replace batch processing functions onMarc records, it is available for download at http://oregonstate.edu/~reeset/marcedit
http://oregonstate.edu/~reeset/marcedit> I think it would be easier than manually editing records. Or you could write a Perl script to do this (what we do). Or use batch processing tools provided by your library automation system. The second method is to have EZproxy wrap your OPAC and request authentication when a remote user attempts to access a licensed resource (this way you don't have to edit each bib record 856) This method is explained here on the EZproxy website:

Do an advanced search for Material Type "Electronic Book" We have 13,211 of them in there!
